and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide
- Work Time Entries: Clock in/out times, break times, and work duration
- Job Information: Job names, hourly rates, currency symbols, and job-related settings
- Notes: Any notes you add to your time entries
- Earnings Data: Calculated earnings, bonuses, overtime, and commute expenses
- Location Data: Job location coordinates and geofence settings (only if you enable location-based reminders)
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Usage and Diagnostics Data: App functionality usage, performance metrics, and crash reports (for app improvement), including data collected via third-party services such as Sentry
- Purchase Information: Subscription status and purchase history (processed through Apple's StoreKit)
1.3 Biometric Data
- Face ID/Touch ID: Used only for app lock authentication. This data is processed locally on your device and is never stored or transmitted.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (time tracking, earnings calculation)
- Enable location-based reminders (geofencing) when you grant location permissions
- Process in-app purchases and subscription management
- Improve app performance and fix bugs through crash reporting
- Display advertisements (for free users) through Google AdMob
3. Data Storage and Sync
3.1 Local Storage
Your time tracking data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This includes all your entries, jobs, and settings.
3.2 iCloud Backup
If you have iCloud enabled, your data is automatically backed up to your personal iCloud account. This backup is encrypted and only accessible through your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
3.3 Data Sync
Data synchronization between your devices occurs through iCloud and is managed entirely by Apple. We do not operate or control iCloud services.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect information about your device and usage to provide personalized ads. For more information about how Google uses data, please visit: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device's advertising settings or by purchasing a Premium subscription, which removes all advertisements.
4.2 Apple Services
- StoreKit: Used for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Purchase data is processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- iCloud: Used for data backup and sync, managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Location Services: Used for geofencing features, managed by Apple's Core Location framework.
4.3 Crash Reporting and Monitoring (Sentry)
The App uses crash reporting and monitoring services, including Sentry, to help identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues. These services collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, stack traces, and usage context at the time of a crash. This information is used solely for analytics and app functionality purposes to improve the stability and reliability of the App, and is not used to track you across apps or websites. Sentry does not require or use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for this App.
5. Location Services
If you enable location-based reminders (geofencing):
- The App requests location permissions to monitor when you arrive at or leave work locations
- Location data is used only to trigger clock in/out reminders
- Location data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
- You can disable location services at any time through your device settings
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:
- All data is stored locally on your device
- iCloud backups are encrypted by Apple
- Face ID/Touch ID authentication is processed locally and never transmitted
- We do not collect or store passwords or payment information (handled by Apple)
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: All your data is stored locally and accessible within the App
- Delete Your Data: You can delete entries, jobs, or all app data through the App or by deleting the App
- Control Location Services: Enable or disable location permissions through your device settings
- Opt Out of Ads: Purchase a Premium subscription to remove all advertisements
- Export Your Data: Use the App's export feature to download your data as PDF or CSV
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device until you:
- Delete specific entries or jobs
- Delete the App from your device
- Clear app data through device settings
If you have iCloud enabled, deleted data may remain in your iCloud backup until you delete the backup.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
